Meet us
E-THERM a.s. is a dynamic company providing supplies and services in the field of industrial measurement, control and automation with a focus on meeting the demanding requirements of customers in all fields. Historically, the company was primarily oriented towards the glass and metallurgical industries, but today it also successfully supplies the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, as well as the chemical, plastics, rubber, pharmaceuticals and semiconductor industries.
Company History
E-THERM a.s. (originally E-therm s. r. o.) was founded in 1992 as a continuation of activities in the field of process control started by cooperation with the British company Eurotherm in 1984. The original focus on control of continuous processes with a high demand for stability and reproducibility was extended over time to include control of batch and piece production, making it possible to successfully perform contracts for automation even of complex industrial units.
In 1992, E-THERM took over exclusive representation of Eurotherm (including Eurotherm Drives, whose production subsequently passed to SSD Drives and in 2005 became a division of Parker Hannifin) for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and in 1993 exclusive representation of the British company LAND Infrared and the Swedish company INOR.
2000In 2000, E-THERM then took over exclusive representation of Italian manufacturer of measuring and control technology ERO-Electronic, at that time a subsidiary of the British company Eurotherm.
2001On 28 February 2001, E-THERM was transformed into a joint-stock company, a change mainly due to the company’s expanding activities. During 2001, E-THERM started working together with LAND Combustion (the second division of LAND Instruments), which mainly supplies equipment for gas analysis and combustion efficiency control.
2005In 2005, the subsidiary company E-therm TZ s.r.o. was established in Klatovy, focusing on supplies of industrial furnaces and other technological equipment. This partnership opened up further possibilities in the field of supplies and reconstruction, as well as complex technological units.
2006In 2006, E-THERM moved to larger premises at the current address Kubišova 1382/38, which were redeveloped to meet the needs of the growing company (a new reception, meeting room, dispatch office and warehouse).
